My pedals are close enough I can heel toe to start. I blip the gas while my foot is still on the brake and let out the clutch while taking my foot off the brake. It’s like having three feet!

They do have some benefits. It’s smaller physically and you don’t need a big lever in a critical area. Also, it can actually engage the ABS. If your brakes go out and it’s a low traction situation, the electronic handbrake can actually use ABS to slow the car down so you don’t skid. With that being said I would much

Hey now! we don’t support brake checking do we ;)

Choices are always good!

I realize my mistake and I apologize.

Yeah it’s a bummer the Golf TDI had to switch to twist beam rear to make room for the ad blue tank. It still drives nicely but the mk6 was more GTI and less Golf.

I agree sometimes but it’s a pain in the ass waiting for an attendant. I drive between NJ and DC regularly and I never stop in NJ because the lines for gas are long and I’d rather just set the pump and run into the rest stop to pee!

Lap belts? Dice in the mirror? Cheap vinyl? Flat seats? No head restraints? I wouldn’t want to drive 5 hours in this car...

It’s fine unless it’s a remotely performance oriented car. I was saddened to find the new GTI went to an electric handbrake.

The last time I needed my full size spare my fucking wheel lock stripped and had to get a plug to get home. I took the wheel locks off promply...it’s a common problem with mid 00s VWs.

Ya know this is a funny thing. I never feel like it dims enough and I like the little lever to flip it down.

On long distance trips there are few things more satisfying than a properly inflated, recently inspected full size spare!

The most?? I’m a turbo guy with my daily but when I’m really wringing a car out I want the throttle control of a N/A. Maybe I just have always had poorly tuned turbo engines ha.

Despite the fact that it’s much harder to get frisky with the ladies in bucket seats, I’m gonna have to disagree with you on the bench. I drive a lot, like hours and hours all the time. My seats hug me like a cashmere sweater and my butt just doesn’t mesh with flat seats.

Yeah no I completely agree with all of this. It blows my mind how out of touch some people are with their cars. I get in my friend’s car and the alignment is off, there is a wobble, the brakes make horrible noise and his tires are all dry rotted. No, it’s not a money issue.

yes! It’s all relative. I live in northern NJ and do all the cars and coffees and car shows all over. historic races at lime rock, etc. and I know what you mean...oh nice a...another 275 gtb/4. over the years I’ve gotten really into race cars from type 35 bugattis and 8c alfas to porsche GT1s. especially porsche race

Haha fair but either way it’s not normal damnit!

1/2 F40 LM...?

It’s the F40LM. For me, that’s it. Hmm okay and the 356 for classy dinners out on the town.

That’s what I was thinking. Where do they find this music??
