Buying a Dodge in the first place proves your idiocy.

How to drive and how to drive stick. My mom owned a 91 K2500 HD Silverado with the L, 1, 2, 3 transmission. With the torque from the 350 and the extremely short gears one just had to breathe on the gas pedal to take off.

Never underestimate the lure of “new car smell” to someone with zero equity and a sub 500 FICO.

Credit. Banks don’t like to give loans for used cars to people with a sub 500 fico. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi (and Nissan) will gladly loan you a shitbox with zero down and only 16% APR for 84 months.

A 1984 Monte Carlo SS that has a 327 swap.

True story. Back in 2010 my FICO was around a 495 (it’s at 830 today thank god). I needed a new car and could afford to spend about $400/mo. I did indeed end up at the Mitsubishi dealer where they approved me for a 72 month loan on a Lancer Ralliart @ 16%APR. I ended up realizing that was stupid and went elsewhere.

Poorly built cars that languish for years before being redesigned?
Currently only solvent due to subprime lending?

Funny you mention the G35 since every, single G35 (coupe) I see has “smoked” tail lights.

Unions. They don’t like that Uber, and Lyft can offer better service for a cheaper faire. Unions also hold a lot of political clout among certain parties that just so happen to control the State of California.

Yup. And famously, the Monte Carlo Aero Coupe was a direct result of Chevy needing to homologate a design that could better compete with the more aerodynamic Thunderbirds.

Hell I hate the new Supra but this is the correct answer.

FCA: We have completely run out of ideas!

Don’t forget the douchetastic aftermarket LED headlights and taillights. Those score extra points with the dozer bros.

As someone that absolutely *hates* the jelly bean era Ford trucks...

So, you gonna post an update about how fake this whole BS was? No? Ok, carry on.

Sure, you could buy an early aughts Dodge but do you really wanna look that poor?

An 11 year old Nissan with a CVT...

Let’s be honest, the build quality of this thing is only a little worse than an actual Viper.
