I’m bipolar and experience this ‘I’m fine I don’t need meds’ then I stop taking them and have severe episodes. This is why I ask my family to manage my money for me, pick up prescriptions, and hope they see the warning signs and get me back on medication if I’ve stopped taking it. I understand, I’d quite like a

Be awesome if there was an option or easter egg to add the classic Doom hud or an updated version of it.

That reminds me of listening to part of an episode of ‘Prairie Home Companion’ right after North Carolina passed their laws and Garrison Keillor was basically like “I’m not sure why they felt it was necessary to pass that law. Where I’m from, we were just taught not to look at the genitals of the people peeing next to

both sides are not the fucking same and I am so tired of seeing people saying this shit. What party fights tooth and nail to not allow rights to anybody? What party is fighting tooth and nail to allow gays the right to marry; women the right to make their own healthcare decisions; etc. etc.? THEY ARE NOT THE FUCKING

I have a three tier system:

That’s actually what a well made movie will do; turn your brain off for you. You can nitpick literally any film and find all the logistical flaws but a well written, shot and edited film will make you ignore them and the shitty ones make you notice all of the puppets’ strings.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Dark Knight, V for Vendetta just off the top of my head were all reasonably smart, compelling movies that touched on the political and cultural zeitgeist without losing anything in their cool action sequences.

Yeah, well, here’s the thing, some people don’t go to watch fucking superhero movies because we care about their intrinsic cultural value or whatever.

Good thing it’s not a zero sum situation - movies can have both cool and good fights and a story that isn’t insultingly stupid. In fact a good story makes cool and good fights cooler and gooder, because you care about the characters!

I feel like Zack Snyder is really talented at some things, like supervising effects and production design, but directing movies should be left to humans.

Would be interesting if a series of Democratic leaders and elder statesmen/stateswomen were to take turns trying to get Trump to lose his shit. Shouldn’t be hard. In a couple weeks, have Al Gore take some potshots. After that, Kirsten Gillibrand, Jerry Brown, Howard Dean, Dick Gephardt, Jesse Jackson, Nancy Pelosi,

That sort of reasoned thinking doesn’t sell papers!!!

It might be like how one girl is targeted as “slutty” even though she doesn’t have any more sexual experience then other girls in her school, or somebody with actually pretty mild acne gets ragged as a pizza face. Sometimes you only have to be a half step behind for the pack to turn on you, and it’s really easy to

I agree with this. I first ran across it (I am putting on my asbestos underwear RIGHT NOW) with Penny Arcade, and you can (if you know the controversies there) like Gabe or not, but he does at least seem to be committed to learning about how not to be a bully and admits that’s a persona he took on a long time ago and

At some point in the last few years, the worldwide press tours for movie releases have both become bigger AND through the magic of the internet it’s easy to find and watch all of them. Before you just saw the two minute whatever interview on local news or Entertainment Weekly or whatever your normal TV viewing habits

You just hurt Kim Davis’ feelings

Is it just me or is the Army the only branch nor royally messing up procurement and high level logistics like this right now? Maybe its just that they’re not involved in colossal fluster cuck that is the F-35 but still...

40 years later, I still remember the little boy forced to bounce his ball in the correct rhythm over and over again while he screams in pain. *shudder* My first dystopia....

The kids all bouncing their basketballs at the exact same time. Chilling.
