I agree. Sometimes I want to search for a movie or TV show...and sometimes I just want to browse through a list of channels to see "what's on". If Netflix had "channels" with a playlist of shows/movies in a certain genre then that would satisfy the need to browse.

My experience with the commissary system was the exact opposite. We shopped there one time, said "it's cheaper and easier to just go to the HEB" and never went back. I also didn't like the fact that you have to let the baggers take the bags to the car and also tip them. If I can shoot, move, and communicate from

These examples lend credence to the point that these seem to be fully realized worlds that people actually live in. Too many sci-fi/fantasy worlds feel like movie sets that people walked onto and that got dismantled after filming.

I would hope so. My wife and I have 2 separate Netflix accounts, even though we've been together for about 2 years now. My account is set up on the XBox in the living room, my laptop, my phone, and one of the kid's tablets, and her account is on her Apple TV in our bedroom, her laptop, her phone, and the other kid's

The writing in the Waste of Time novels really isn't that great as it goes along. Let me give you an example from my own experience. I faithfully slogged through each book as they came out, but at some point realized that I wasn't really looking forward to the next one. When a new one came out I had to re-read the

What sucks is that the never had the Garlic Bread flavor anywhere near me. I liked the Sriracha (I put it on everything anyway), and was surprised at how much I liked the Chicken and Waffles flavor, but I never got to try the Garlic Bread. It does seem like the "safe" (read "bland") choice, though.

As long as they throw out the garbage that made up the follow-up novelizations. Ugh, what was Lucas thinking when he signed off on that crap?

All 6 of the volunteer firefighters are missing and presumed dead at this time. They were trying to evacuate the area and got as many people away from the plant as possible A lot more people would have died if they weren't out there doing their jobs. Making fun of the first responders who evacuated the school,

Mmmmm......Dub Dub....

That one was good, but they kept having the space pilots doing ground-pounder work.

I second that one. Loved that show!

I haven't used shampoo or conditioner in 3 years. I keep my hair short but during the times when I decide to grow it out longer it is fluffy and soft.

Haha, I used to have that tape. I loved Billy Crystal, but the jokes went totally over my 10-year-old head.

I absolutely love well-done practical effects and I wish movie makers would combine the best of the old-school practical effects techniques with the best of what they can to with digital FX instead of just saying "oh, we'll just add some FX in post" to same money and time.

Because Currents is a curated version of Reader and it doesn't let you add RSS feeds that it doesn't already support. It is also smartphone-only, so desktop readers need not apply.

Depends on the situation. Where I work, no one who uses that bathroom would be inconvenienced if someone uses the handicap stall, so I don't mind using it. In a public bathroom I'll usually go to the first one that looks clean and leave the handicap stall available. If I have to use that one in public, I don't feel

The killer feature that many people love about Reader and that isn't available in other RSS readers is that no matter what device you use or whether you use a fat client or a web extension or the Reader site itself, your feeds are available and synched up. You know, the whole cloud thing.

I just switched to Feedly as it seems like the easiest transition away from Reader. According to the Feedly folks, once the Reader service is shut down the Feedly authentication will still be through your Google Account (OAuth) but the backend feeds will come from their servers and not Google's.

I can't wait until my Sprint contract is up and I can get rid of my HTC phone with Sense 4 and switch to the goodness that is vanilla Android on the Nexus 4.... Most of the "features" of Sense are things that I disable, hide. or just plain bite the bullet and live with until that day.
