68/9 Torinos don't get nearly enough love. The C stripe being lower on the car confirms the movie car to be a 69 (as opposed to the 68 pictured above with the C stripe that follows the body line). It is hard to blame someone for getting the year wrong due to the fact that these cars get so little love.

I knew this

NASCAR Sprint Cup races at North Wilkesboro. A shame that a good short track got eliminated from the schedule.

Honorable mention to Sprint Cup races at North Carolina Motor Speedway (Rockingham)

I don't think that's an SCCA Auto X. I'm going to guess something like Power Tour based on the banners, and the fact that I think I've seen that vehicle before. It wasn't from the 2012 Power Tour Auto Cross for sure though... :)

When Toyota comes to this party you just have to say, You're drunk, Toyota, go home.

It was the highest ranked non race car.

I travel across Iowa a lot. I hate Iowa 80. I avoid it like the plague. Gas is always expensive there and there is so much truck traffic that it is a nightmare to get back out of.

I've had a vehicle up on its door before but that is impressive!

hmmmmm... I will be back from testing in even colder places than Detroit and this does sound like fun.

This is what I came in to post. 20 on the Star, looks like I was no where near alone.

I've seen cruise control as optional equipment on low level cars. I've never actually seen a car built without it though. Calling something optional when you aren't even going to build a car without it is pretty silly.

I've always called it the "blow it out your ass" button

While I agree these are utterly terrible and belong on the list, what's with jab at covering up a '95 Tbird being a good thing? Sure, the stock engines were kind of anemic but that was mostly status quo of when they were made. It was a last bastion of muscle car formula goodness that lasted well beyond when anyone

An LSX actually has a lot in common with an old school small block Ford. There is even a guy out there on the internet that was working on putting LSX heads on a SBF block. Things were really, really close, it actually loked like something that might work out. I don't really see it as sacrilege to put an engine

I was looking for a wagon on here. You clearly like a little junk in the trunk in addition to the nice rack.

1968 Cougar

I think the taillights on the 4 are much better than the taillights on the 3. One of my biggest design pet peeves is taillights on the quarter not lining up with the part on the trunk. This helps fix what the 3 is screwing up. BMW is the worst offender of this as a brand but the worst individual car was definitely

The engine is controlled by electronics therefore, it has electronics that help you do burnouts :)

Read the Delta Wing fight article yesterday, very interesting, not a legal expert but seems like Ganassi and Panoz have a solid case and expect them to win. If you haven't liked Racer Magazine on Facebook, do it. Second best thing I ever liked, to Jalopnik, obviously ;)

I'm kind of partial to this one. Bonus points if you can name what this car's VIN says it is. It has parts from just about every thing in the family of chassis of it's manufacturing corporation, although not a one of those parts is unmodified.

If there's one thing I took from the history of rock and roll class, it's that Bob Dylan is over rated.
