Even more so: there are videos on Youtube showing Subaru WRX's pulling semis along a road.

I didn't know a kick-drum was part of that engine.

TIL: Gearbox troubles are the bane of inventive race cars.

No idea why people get such a big kick out of this. Its been done over and over again by pickups of all manufactures.

Nope, this could tho. And then they cancelled it....

On a related note, I had to take a picture of these two beige bastards cutting me off this weekend.

The press release specifically states it uses a twin-clutch RDU (rear differential unit). Please explain how this is car marketing BS.

Nice Maserati you have there.

OK, let's see if I can follow what they're doing here....

Apples and pumpkins. People buy $40K Subarus all the time and in the grand scheme of things what makes a Subaru better than a Ford? Same commoditized econobox turned into a rally car.

This looks pretty damn fantastic - and the wing mirrors apparently give you a really good view of the air intakes on the flanks.

I promise to be a great 3rd owner of a Focus RS

Since the introduction of the 308 in the mid 1970s, the entry level Ferrari has been powered by a naturally aspirated V8. That all ends today. Meet the Ferrari 488 GTB, a 3.8 liter turbocharged monster with 660 horsepower that gets to 60 in three seconds. I don't think Ferrari knows what "entry level" means.

Anyone who was perhaps into RC cars 10 or 15 years ago and hasn't looked in on the scene since needs to do themselves a favor and look in on the scene. The one in this video isn't even modded out...and I think it's good for 60+ mph with 2 3cell batteries. It's expensive, but you can get a 2wd brushless for around $300

Application of throttle or brake will correct the car's attitude while it's airborne. It takes practice, but it kinda becomes second nature after a while. Looks awesome too.

Jeep should support public lands for off-roading. The cut lyric was about trespassing. I don't see the problem.

Now playing

Brushless E-Revo's are a ton of fun: cheap(ish) durable(ish) and so much torque you can do whatever you want, backflips from a standing start? mid air corrections? yeah
