Apparently a lot of the native community has been very critical of this so I dont know if this is really the thing we should all double down on.

I think thats fair. A sad story sure but Its not up to us to mourn celebrities for months on end.

What I mean by “fight back” is that making fun of WWE is easy as they are kinda independent from most things. They don’t sponsor big tv shows or people and they don’t have huge influence over other things.

My concern isnt about vince mcmahon its about the focus being on some dumb carny company and not the ones who have been in bed with saudis forever that most people didnt seem to be bothered about.

Does anyone feel like a lot of these places are going after WWE rather than a lot of other big companies because its easy and there is no way for wwe to really fight back?

You gotta assume that eventually a company is gonna try to out crazy the other and do something that just falls so hard on its face it causes a stir. Will be fun

Am I the only one who kinda hates this new style of pretending to be self aware twitter marketing? The wendys twitter account was kinda an interesting idea years ago but now with everyone trying to not talk like a company its kinda just become sad. Maybe its better than ads before it but I dunno, Im just kinda over it.

unless you are a couple in your 50s who want a sitcom so inoffensive there is probably no need to watch last man standing

Its gonna be interesting when the show does half the ratings it did last year and people wonder why even as the reviews say that the shows cast shines now without roseanne there.

I feel like a lot of these reviews come off with a “its not like the marvel movies!” like quote that I dont think in and of itself is a problem. Not to say other points weren’t made but I dont think eery superhero should ape that format. 

Yea thats true. The 4kids stuff I think hurt it gaining ground in the states the way it was and still is a beast in the states but I was still wondering as I didnt recall any theater releases. I will say My hero has been on the rise the last year or two.

he could live to be 100 who really knows but in the very least he if offically a rapist every would be happy never seeing again. his “im blind” stuff didnt work and he has to tell everyone he lives next to he is a rapist.

I think rifftrax has gotten better as their jokes have a bit more sting and are often more about making jokes about the movie which to me is more appealing than no sequiturs and references even I often dont understand.

I know this will actually be controversial but say what you want about tim allen the person the show itself is pretty standard sitcom fare . The show is barely political at all. Outside of generic “im the dad and im right” tropes that most shows from the 90s it apes.
