I mostly agree. Though this album is more country than the last one I wouldnt consider either of them that. I love Kacey but her goal seemed to always be mainstream pop success. So this is part of dealing with that.

Diamond is sadly another child actor story like erin moran where they just could get past the troubles they faced after the show that made them famous ended. unfortunately it seems an early death is also common.

Yea for sure. Its been on for 300 episodes so “underrated” isnt the right word but I think there are a lot of people who either prejudge it based on the seth connection or the first couple seasons. 

pepe isnt interesting or special enough to need redeeming. I feel the same way about the twitch community who refuse to let it go and accept its alt right connections. There are thousands of memes. I dont get why this one needs to have so much backing outside of just being stubborn.

So for some dumb reason they censored some of the lyrics so its actually “wet ass pussy”. They also removed some of the more sexual words.

True I think its just important to distinguish a blog post and an paid article actually backed by the company.

This doesn’t mean much but to be clear fobres contributors  arent forbes. its basically a blog platform that anyone can sign up for . It doesn’t negate the article (fuck JK rowling) but it does mean that forbes didnt do anything but host the page.

I dont understand why so many people just cant believe that corporate higher ups just dont think about this stuff and have no idea often what people really want.

In the very least I thought “as you were” was a really entertaining album. I cant really say that about the silly and pretentious songs from noel. “If I had a gun” might be the most hillarous song lyrics wise ive heard in a while.
