I stopped bothering with public multiplayer shortly after RoS. I’ll never be a competitive player and it was more fun for me to take my time and go solo than blitz through everything as quick as possible with strangers. Great to play with friends, though.

Totally agree with all of this and have to say I’m very excited for the expansion too!

Don’t get me wrong, I love both. I’m just saying that Horizon didn’t quite meet my expectations on that front. At the end of the day I’m just happy we get a new Forza game every year without either franchise suffering for it :)

That’s been my impression as well. As far as an ‘open road’ driving game goes, vs. pure open world, I think Horizon 2 might do a better job.

I agree! Nothing better, each iteration of the Nordschleife in FM seems to get more and more visceral.
