I asked this my first day working at a tire manufacturer years ago. They said it’s technically possible, but getting the compounds to last and hold together with regular traffic use isn’t something they see working.

It’s still around the same price range as other riding denim. ie ugly bros. But given the proprietary blend and tech it’s not what i’d consider unreasonable. That being said I still can’t afford them.

Cold, balding sport tires, 3+ inches of standing water on a fresh paved freeway. First downpour in weeks. And a minivan loosing control, thus trying to avoid an accident, and hydroplaning into construction equipment. Loved that car.
