My co-worker purchased one of those as a "summer project".... 4 years ago. The only thing it started was a house fire.

Or be one of those lucky bastards that finds Bugattis and Duesenbergs in a barn.
I still think thats one of the best looking cars ever made. I was on the verge of buying one last summer. If it wasn't for the fact it would be my only car, and we have mean winters here, I probably would've made a move on it.
Given the ingress/egress practicality it allows, especially in tight spaces.... I'm fine with it. They had a reason for it, not just aesthetics.
Agreed. But as a spectator and avid car enthusiast, it'd be a hell of a time to watch.
A guy can dream right? I'm just fed up with the billions spent on seeing who is the better driver, and trying to level the playing field. I'm much more interested in who has the better car.
So... when can we expect the Huayra R, Huayra Revolucion, Cinque, F, Clubsport, Tricolore, and so on. I just wanna see a race prepped Huayra.
If I was "aircraft carrier rich", I would create a race in which this would have to go up against the Huayra, P1, 650s, 918, the ferrari so nice they named it twice, Gumpert Apollo Enraged, Lambo Super Trofeos, etc. Divided into classes based on HP/powertrain, but with none of the FIA power restrictions. Factory cars,…
Is it a fair market price? I haven't a clue. Do I want it? Ask me a serious question.
If that landing gear is damaged beyond repair, can I take it? I need a new base for a lamp. Wing too, trying to make a dining table.
Usually it has to do with tooling and part costs. Companies almost always use the same door handles in the front as in the back, in which it might save them $1.50-$5 per unit to re-use the same handle over the cost of making another one, unless that is they have the other type of handle readily available in the parts…
E39. They can be found for less than $5k, fairly safe, and every parent prefers their kid to have a big sedan. But also because by the time they're 17... they'll be able to diagnose bad bushings, swap valve cover gaskets in an afternoon, be a full-fledged electrical engineer, have a list of part numbers memorized, a…
Missed one.
Interior fit and finish? Overall build quality? Ease of parking?
I always wanted one of these as a potential winter car. Then I saw the maintenance and reliability issues, and that ship sailed.
Up until 2 weeks ago, I lived 3 blocks from this bridge. It took them nearly a year to deconstruct it, tearing off concrete, small steel sections and whatnot. The few seconds of orchestral explosions made the wait and inconvenience completely worth it.
Both, sadly.
A friend of mine used to have one. Did a little turbo work to it and got it up to 550whp I believe. Very much a sleeper, and according to him a "stupid comfy fast boy".
.... dammit... thanks kinja
