As someone who has to deal with ideas like these getting shot down on the daily, let me sum up the reasoning...

I'm baffled that you can get a Cayenne with a manual. Nevertheless, my heart is with the M5 just because of the V10. If I could find that engine in a junk yard, IT WILL be swapped into my e39.

Well done. The only one's I've seen around me have 150k+, usually a salvage title and yet their asking up to $14k. I keep searching for a decent stock one with a manual but pickins are slim around Ohio.

If you can find one that hasn't been raped by lots of owners, more power to you. I've been searching for a decent one for years. I'd consider trading my E39 for one.

So I can keep my resonator deleted pipes because they still have cats? Word.

That.... is strong pornography.

The funny thing about all this is that modern exotic car owners refuse to admit the cars are too fast for them to handle. They sit around, sipping wine (or, in the case of Lamborghini drivers, snorting cocaine), discussing the performance differences between their vehicles. "My car did 7:20 around the Nurburgring,"

Another resonator deleted E39 in Ohio? Did we just become friends?

So is the 540i/6. Lots of similarities, not as much power but still damn near 300. And I got mine for only $5k.

No clue. I love my e39 (most days), but I couldn't imagine justifying spending that much on one.

Aston Martin.... DP....

Fisker Karma. This is fairly rare, only made a few years, highly discussed at the time, and never coming back (probably).

More like shooting the wrong target.

In the BMW CCA classifieds recently one was going for $44k, with only 12k miles. Ten years from now I bet it would be worth close to double.

Do you automatically feel a false sense of entitlement whilst driving it?

Those linear reflections carry the rendering. Great execution of material finishes, but if it was in a front 3/4 perspective or tipped, it'd be a better example of how light and reflections move through 3d space.

Well as of this week.... Timing chain gaskets need replaced, electric radiator fan was replaced but still not working (some wiring issue i think), blown ball joints in 3 of 4 corners (cleveland potholes), transmission output shaft seal is on its way out, so is the clutch, and all the suspension bushings, and VANOS

Well obviously.

Pretty sure you've won life. Everyone else can go home now, games over.

Doing VANOS work terrifies me because I've never done it before. I've heard some horror stories from other owners about having their car on jack stands for two weeks and many moneys lost.
