I used to have an E46 325i, and maintenance on that was nothing compared to my current E39. Just typing this my wallet is asking for a divorce.

Laguna Seca blue.

The guy i bought my old E46 from had a Z4M coupe and an M6. That Z4M coupe is still my unicorn car. He had it impecably maintained (as many off-the-boat germans would), with an Akrapovic exhaust, and 59k miles. He ended up selling it for nearly $30k. The want is still strong.

Mercer. Because they were fast, innovative, and just quirky.

I was really hoping it meant active camouflage and suppressed chain cannons. Disappoint.

Dedicated to the arguments that will inevitably ensue following the article.

There is a 959 and 917, at least that's something. But a 993 turbo s would round it out nicely.

Right around 6.4 mpg.

Given the specific output of the Viper engine and its displacement, it's borderline unacceptable it makes less than 800bhp.

Agreed. I'm curious as to where you'd rank the Viper? From everything I've read, the Z06 is stellar without a doubt, but I'd be willing to assume the Viper isn't that far behind.

Porsche- lighter than snakeskin, good fuel economy, less time in the pits.

My step-dads is slight more dynamic with a 1964 Triumph TR4, and a 1968 AM General Deuce and a half. Side note, thats a nice looking Spitfire, sir.

I would acquire a Zonda Cinque (or any recent Zonda). For two reasons, first is that its what dreams are made of, and if you have one chances are you'll be making lots of friends, friends that might let you crash at their place if you take them out for a drive. Essentially couch surfing in the most debonair of sorts.

There is a lot i like about this car. However, My gripe with current BMW SUV/CUV/whateverthehell line up, their using a lot more sharper surface break ups with much fuller surfacing sections. Where as in the past, there was a cleaner, taught surfacing aesthetic that I believe resonated well with the sort of

I'm fairly certain that picture is what my dreams consist of.

I just hope some of those who were removed were the managers that signed off on whatever they shipped out the door. Instead of some engineer used as a scapegoat and being let go for doing what his/her boss told them to do.

I'd happily be that guy. FOR SCIENCE!!

Like the 7th-generation Corvette, do you? Think it's really nice? Just put a down payment on one? Well TOO BAD, SUCKERS, THERE'S GONNA BE A NEW CORVETTE SOON ANYWAYS, HAHAHAHAHAHA.
