Just curious , what for you need that processing power in college ?

Acer E1 slash 11 / 13 / 15 are good machines but avoid at all costs those with SSD 32 GB and such - the SSD is not upgrade-able. And a typical Win8.1 install and upgrades will eat your SSD in 2 - 3 months. And you cannot delete the recovery partition.
