Its clearly not that simple and serious choices are likely to be coming about who gets medical care. Personally, I'd prefer to lean towards new life whenever possible, and traditionally, it's not surprising to see older folks be willing to sacrifice for their descendants. 

Yes, obviously triage would be an issue (which it’s going to be anyway) and yes, there’d be cases where it wouldn’t be feasible, thus why I said “almost every...”
