Effective for groups that don’t include anyone at risk. But even staying to actual families, that’s not all that likely as most extended families include old folks and young kids in some combo.

I do appreciate working from home, but I could be happy with 2 days a week in the office for some human contact outside of my wife. 

I have no real beef with the dealership model overall, but if they were all friendly to ordering exactly what you want that would be a huge improvement.
