Sure, but spending on an irrational car can easily be on a different irrational car. Obviously there's diehards, but that's still the minority group, even within the larger minority of people who can buy an irrational car.

That's a good point. I think I'm most concerned that a Sanders nomination scares the right enough to drive some changes in the house. 

The DNC could definitely FUBAR this and run the risk of losing the house as well. If the GOP gets all 3 branches we'll be living in the handmaid's tale in 2022.

All the same people are probably voting for him again, they don't seem to care what he does. 

More people voted against him than for him. This really is a place where your vote may not matter. 

Who can afford to miss work? 

The flu has a much lower mortality rate than Covid-19. More people get/report having the flu, which accounts for the much higher number of deaths. As Covid-19 spreads, you can expect to see it's death told rise dramatically.

If you're still paying full price it makes much more to just take half home. Or maybe split the meal if dining with someone else. 

Have fun trying to find a decent job in half those places. Not to mention, buying a median priced house is a lot of those means living in a pretty shitty area and probably needing to sink another 40+K into the house to get it liveable.

The first 3 are pretty easily not something everyone’s into. (And 2 aren’t available yet for us to even know if they’re good) The Lincoln’s are expensive (and not cars) and the f150 isn’t a car or something that everyone would be interested in.

The manufacturer only suggests a price. Like many other retailers, the dealers are just trying to price inventory where it will get the best return.
