@phinn: You can downgrade, can't you?

@CaptainJack: I was thinking $$$$ too. But with an extra $. The control and unprovenness you speak of is exactly my reasoning as to why it is/was in Apple's best interest to limit liability, mitigate quantity of potential issues, and have as much as control as possible in having only one carrier. However, with the

@CaptainJack: Is that truly the case though? My feeling was that Apple likes being on an exclusive carrier as it maintains tighter control, especially when the first iPhone came out. I can see how it can be interpreted as bad for Apple but I think control is what Apple values even more than being on multiple

@Jean-Luc Pikachu: I know how you feel. I don't use Facebook or Twitter or any social media but it's now integrated into everything these days. Enough is enough but these things are money makers in either data mining or keeping up with trends, so it's understandable but annoying.

@vein11: But it's true. There isn't much "else," if at all. And any phone, be it Android-based or iPhone, wouldn't be very good for his friend's needs. She's going to already be using a basic phone so why would you recommend a gimped one that can make calls yet won't?

@Cupajo: If you're so anti-Apple, why would you get it?

@BloggyMcBlogBlog: Does flipping the video really avoid copyright infringement? I can't imagine that would hold up in any way

@csc3: I find it funny that he has a problem with the semantics of the original saying yet has suggested an entirely redundant one to replace it (the most convenient is what you have? gee really?). Besides, his analogy doesn't fit because you can defer hunger whereas you certainly cannot defer a moment in time when

@Odin: It makes the phone camera "better" and "the best" in being convenient, which is the point of the saying in the first place, especially since it's mainly referring to taking snaps with whatever that happens to be on you of life's moments that are usually known to be quite fleeting. I think you're reading too

The live stream is to try and mitigate the wifi problem they had at the iphone 4 announcement. And it's only going to be for macs to lessen bandwidth issues.

@jeff181995: I'm thinking he's talking about converting file formats (like AAC to MP3), which would lose audio quality, right? But I'm pretty sure Android can play AAC too so I dunno. If he's talking about converting DRM'ed AAC then that doesn't seem to make sense since I don't think you can convert DRM'ed AAC since

@jeff181995: So what's he mean by serious and damaging?

@brbot: But it's still faulty. It may be blown out of proportion but the hard facts have shown that signal does go down, data does slow or even halt, and calls do drop for some people.

@hostile-17: Good questions, I'd like to know as well. Especially why it's a shock if there's a beta and why would the author of this post be livid? I'd imagine full, robust support for the Mac would be a good thing for people who use Macs. I assume Bartz made the call on not supporting Mac? But why and why would

@gizread: That's no sunspot, I tell you...

I've heard this is actually bad (to work out to the pace of music) as it is forcing your body to work harder than a healthy pace based on your target heartrate. Any truth to this and whether or not it's at all an isssue?
