This show shambles along aimlessly, never getting better but never getting worse. And as it wanders without direction, it accomplishes nothing and merely survives by infecting its viewers who hang on hoping for a resolution they know will never come, but lacking the courage to just give up and tune out.

They’ve been using flashbacks a lot, so I groaned when the flashback had it’s flashback, and then again, when the flashback’s flashback flashbacked. If you’ve got more than one level of flashback start the story at the earliest point!

Three, now four comments in 12 hours. The ole grey mare she ain’t what she used to be. Does anyone even do more than hate watch this show anymore?

Thank you! Watched it this week and it’s .... not very good.

Old Man Yells at Clod

Sports are those things that the kids who used to beat up AV Club writers in high school were into, right?

Viola Davis is a strong favorite for best supporting, she is really incredible in this. Boseman is great but as I said elsewhere, I hope they don’t give the oscar posthumously. Glynn Turman and Colman Domingo are incredible, I can only imagine Slow Drag’s monologue must have been cut because he didn’t get the same

...fans can catch the anarchistic rabble-rouser fully immersed in his comfort zone in his new stand-up comedy special, Legalize Everything, where he levels out his signature raunch and shock value with profound insights.

Speak for yourself, Captain. I legit love The Eric Andre Show.

Fame/FameMonster and Born This Way are stellar; tried Artpop but it really didn’t speak to me, although “Mary Jane Holland” may be my favorite Gaga tune of all time. One thing I don’t think she gets much credit for is her sense of humor.

I don’t get it, y’all. 13 songs (leaving off the interludes), and not a single hook to be found among them.

I am old and uncool and finally decided a few months ago I should download Lady Gaga’s first two albums and figure out what all this hype is all about. I am now a fan. As the review says I don’t love all her songs or all of all of her songs but I respect her ambition. I also just downloaded ARTPOP but haven’t listened

Both versions!

She shows up in the bachelorette karaoke bar scene. From what people are saying, you get different scenes playing through again even if you choose the same options, so good luck! (I get it, as much as I love this show, Mimi Kanassis may be my favorite part)

Worth repeated viewings just to watch Titus sing Freebird multiple times

Ditto.  In the very important echo chamber that is my own head, Mad Men is aging terribly while Hamm’s cameos on 30 Rock and Kimmy Schmidt are aging like fine wine.

This is not a painful movie to watch. It deals with a painful subject, but it’s not melodrama or (emotional) torture porn. Just a simple drama, well executed.

I agree. She was definitely not a villain in this. Even Driver was sympathetic for the most part.

Scarlett Johansson was so unlikable in this movie because Noah Baumbach made this after a divorce” was a real thing that real people said after supposedly seeing this, despite the fact that she’s hands down the most sympathetic adult in the movie (besides possibly Alan Alda.)
