I am both looking forward to seeing this documentary, while at the same time don’t want to watch it.  The anger inspired by the NFL and it’s owners makes me just want to abandon it all together...  maybe it’s time.

Describing UCLA as “middling” or even merely “good” isn’t accurate. UCLA is one of the top global research universities. In many of the ranking systems (which all admittedly have flaws or biases) it has surpassed Cal as the top public US university. I get your larger point, but UCLA is an elite school academically.
