Why wouldn’t they be? Death or injury resulting in his inability to play would have made him equally as useless to the team. Would it have been generous if he was just paralyzed? Guaranteed money means what it sounds like it means.

Here’s what I found on the subject:
Legal question — is “legally drunk” based on the 0.08 BAL in Missouri, where supposedly the contract was written, or on what the limit is in the DR?
This drives me crazy. Our good friends have a son with SMA. He skypes in to class and goes in a few days a month to the classroom.
You mean a private school that’s flush with cash didn’t do the right thing to accommodate a student with above-average aptitude?
Wow. That’s one of the most clear cut cases of discrimination I’ve read about in a long time. Did the school not even bother to consult a lawyer?
I’ve got one better: Recently I saw some jackass online bitching about people who supposedly spend their time bitching about people online.
lazy. sure. i see you’ve chosen to use an alternative word here. nice.
We know. You’ve been commenting on everyone else’s comments since TMZ leaked the footage. Are you the producer named in the above article?
Saying that Dog B is a reincarnation of Dog A negates the intrinsic value of Dog B.
I can see how reading the book, to deal with a pets death and sob in the comfort of your own home... but going to a theater to see this?! WHY?!!! The trailer alone made me sob uncontrollably.
Oh that movie left me PISSED at the people who market movies. I never read the book so I didn’t know the full story, and they marketed the movie as a fun and cute movie to see at Christmas. So I went and it turned out to be about depressing and strained human relationships and dogs going off to die alone in the night.…
This all day, erry day. It’s sole reason for existence is to swindle revenue from the group that unironically uses terms like “fur babies”. It’s unmitigated emotional manipulation aimed squarely at the type of people who boldly proclaim they don’t like how political the presidential race has become. And what it…
They need to accept that this movie is going to tank and send it straight to video. It (likely) isn’t worth the negative press of trying to defend it.
Bingo. It’s treacly nonsense.
There’s already a perfectly cromulent movie about dealing with the loss of a beloved pet.
Marley & Me was the last dog dies at the end movie I will ever see and that’s the end of that.
My biggest problem with the movie is not this footage but that the movie exists. Sorry but the entire premise of the movie is emotional blackmail. “Look at the doggie! He’s so sweet. And now he’s dead. And now he’s alive again. And now he’s dead.”
he is not wrong about Peta. He also isn’t wrong about the TMZ video being highly edited. however, what i did see was disturbing. i had no plans to see this movie anyway. i can’t handle a dog dying multiple times.
But the question remains: why would anyone pay to watch a movie where a dog dies a dozen times? It is a fact that one dog’s death is the most heart wrenching moment in any fiction or film. To see many dogs die? As the main plot? For two hours? Over and over? I’d rather have 6 pap smears in a row. Fuck that.
