As a trans person who does not believe prison should be punishment, and as far as I know it’s technically still billed as rehabilitation being the main goal as far fetched as that actually might be. How does is this apart from the “legitimate movement” you’re mentioning?

Sorry yes they do change/correct stuff but they rarely mark it as a correction or a retraction like most people do. They just “update” it. Not disagreeing or anything, but to me that’s an annoying semantic difference on jezebel’s part.
I didnt see the article you’re talking about but jezebel literally never does corrections in the same way newspapers or other journalistic sites do so don’t hold your breath.
