This is gonna be a great pilot episode for my new show “Law and Order: Special Vehicles Unit.”
Now you’ve started something.
Probably the only thing keeping some businesses afloat as well, especially small, relatively local ones.
No need for you tumbling into the conversation like that.
It will lead to the ignition of a large debate!

Look more closely at those surveys and you’ll discover there’s far more to Caddy’s problems than just those things. Take a look at the black vs. red dots alongside a host of Cadillac products in Consumer Reports, for example. Problem areas abound.

Hmmm. If they’re just chopping off the “de” from “Escalade” badging, I wonder if this hints at the return of the “de Ville.” No need for those letters to go to waste.
Cue the collective yawn. Cadillac does this every few years...build a concept, make a big stink about it, talk boldly about taking on the Germans...then never build the car. Rinse, repeat. This routine doesn’t even make German car execs look up from their morning coffee.
This is why I love it here. We can talk about a Hoffmeister kink and (a) people know what you’re talking about and (b) peoples’ eyes don’t glaze over when you explain it to them. +1
