Why not just spend 60k on a loaded Taurus SHO and have Livernois Motorsports tune it? It will ride better, corner better and make stupid horsepower and torque.

It’s hard not to mention one without the other.

Except the ones that still do.

You could tell me that a Caprice is better in every conceivable way than a Crown Vic, and I would still pick the Crown Vic every time. It just looks so much better. Even though the platform is over 30 years old, it doesn’t look nearly as dated in the style department as that thing. The Crown Vic is a modern classic.

GT350. If you like theater, character and driving in general, the GT350 smashes the other two into bits. The ZL1 and GT500 will definitely be faster in a straight line. You can replicate most of what will make a GT500 cool with a big blower on a Mustang GT (same with the ZL1 to the SS, honestly).

I love to hate government regulation. I for example like manual cars, for years I have purchased nothing but manual transmissions sports cars. Recently though, my choice for a manual is not as certain. I say this because I am also a sucker for performance and this is the reason why I might potentially owned an

The engineer in me is WOW

AdBlue is pretty much refined piss.

Too bad it’s from Nissan, and will be a heaping pile of mangled garbage within the first 5K miles.

I always assumed the reasons that each successive model of the vehicle got bigger was because automakers assumed the buying public wanted a little bit more. I want my new Civic (or whatever) to be bigger then my 8 year old Civic. I don’t want to feel like I bought “less” car.

Better writers is a must. Some of those little routines they did in the studio were absolutely dreadful.

Your life’s a joke, you’re broke.

It’s like you’re always stuck in second gear...

No one told us things were gonna be this way

This should say:

When you press the clutch pedal, the input shaft is still spinning down. By selecting first, you’re bringing everything to a stop inside the gearbox (by synchronizing first gear and the output shaft, which is not turning). Then reverse engages without grinding.

Heh, the part about reverse isn’t actually terrible advice. I know that in my gearbox, first and reverse sort of share a synchro. And I’ve found that holding in the clutch and shifting to first, then reverse, for some reason makes the sometimes grunchy reverse gear engage without protest, particularly on a cold

honestly I think it’s smart - what’s it cost Ford, maybe 50 cents in printing and time to hang them on the stick? LOTS of folks don’t know and haven’t ever driven a manual transmission these days. Some of them will do the, “it’s can’t be that hard” thing and trash it. Why not better the new owner’s experience with a

I don’t have a photo on me unfortunately but Fiat manuals have been coming with a tag somewhat similar to that for years, especially the Abarths and Turbos because there’s no reverse syncro. If you just throw it into reverse and try to go, especially on a cold startup, you’ll get grinding and sometimes it’ll pop out

No, its not. It clearly says “DEALER: DO NOT REMOVE” which means only the customer removes the tag.
