What specific problems do you have with Windows, out of polite curiosity?

I’ve got an old Samsung laptop I bought in 2011 that easily gave the MacBooks of that era a run for their money on design, thinness and usability. It’s good enough, still powerful enough, and I’m happy enough with it that I’m not thinking about buying a new laptop to replace it.

PSA question - when would law enforcement intervene? This is only the beginning, and is a matter of time before someone gets killed playing this useless game. What’s weird is that someone admitted to it. I’d never do something that stupid to begin with (realistically this is comparable to texting and driving, if not even worse since it takes even more of your attention), but if I did I think I’d at least lie and say I swerved away from a bunny rabbit or a squirtle squirrel.

Funny, I won’t buy a laptop if it doesn’t have a 10-key/numeric pad.
Try working with numbers for a living, it’s indespensible.
And no, I’m not buying a 10-key peripheral just so I can get a smaller laptop.

My wife is the opposite and won’t buy a laptop that doesn’t have a numeric keypad. I’m guessing it has something to do with previously working for a bank many years ago.

My 2012 15" (non-Retina) MBP is not doing so well, despite the fact I’ve babied it, kept it free of dust, well-ventilated and usually don’t carry it around all day.

People that tend to buy a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro 13 don’t but it for the gobs of inputs. Or a 1tb drive. Or the ability to play a game of whatever decently specced game is making the rounds right now. They get it for ease of use. For no hassle warranty replacements.
