As much as I love the Merc, there's no way in hell that you could make one more exciting to drive than the Fox Body on the cheap. However, as fast as the Fox is, it has absolutely zero refinement or class. It's a tough choice, but I chose the performance option.

Can I say what I wish was mandated? Amber turn signals on all cars. I know that many people don't bother using them at all, but I find it easier to notice a turn signal/hazard lights when they are amber. It coincides with the use of flashing yellow traffic lights for warnings.

Modern airbags do deploy at varying levels based on severity of impact. My girlfriend got to experience this firsthand when a tire blew and the car ground to an abrupt halt on the side of the road. The airbag deployed without causing any abrasions whatsoever.

It removes the need to have your headlights on full or (worse) reduced power at certain times, which these days seems to mean all the time. Plus new fancy cars have those irritating LED parking lights to warn you a douchebag is approaching.

Are you mad? I loved those! I drove a 91 camry with those up until a couple years ago, and it was always hilarious when I'd give rides to bewildered peers who thought the car was trying to strangle them.

TPMS. Its a really expensive system that on most cars provide no information other than turning on a light if any single wheel is below some PSI. Without about two minutes of your time once a month and a $5-10 tool you can accomplish the same thing.
