If it weighs as little as the current Mazda2, that's more than enough...I just hope it keeps analog gauges and good visibility.

Perfect circle?

And ride quality!

I've seen the renderings from Hiroshima. As far as super-minis go, it looks pretty bad ass. The go factor won't be much though as it's planned to have a 1.5 skyactiv with around 125hp. They're planning a lot of "customization" they say, though that's limited to swapping out colored dash panels and such.

This could be troublesome for fuel economy.

Chuck Jordan (GM design exec) left his Ferrari Daytona in the studio on jacks while he was away from the office for an extended period of time. He put his trust in the stylists and clay modelers (bad idea!) and they went to work adding such details as side pipes, wheel skirts, opera windows, Rolls style faux radiator

I was always a fan of the Car Talk Fiat MPG prank. Classic

"Baby Aston? Sweet!!"

BMW will charge more for a sedan based on a coupe that already has a cheaper sedan version.

What is the point? Anyone that can buy a new car more than likely has a smartphone. Just give me a nice place to hook my phone up to the car, thats all I want.

Are people actually this dumb about SYNC? My 2010 Fusion SEL has it, and I love it. It's incredibly simple. You push a button. You say a voice command. It selects what you want. People need to stop whining.

Modern cars are more like rolling networks, with PCM, ABS, TC, SC, and NAV systems all wired together. It gets even more complicated when you tack on collision avoidance and lane departure warning hardware to the network. Most of the critical computers on most modern cars actually run Linux, so their stability on

Fair point, but aren't infotainment systems completely separate from mission-critical things? For an infotainment system like this I would consider the interface to be pretty damn important, and Windows Phone 8 is a pretty stable OS with a silky-smooth interface even on the bottom-of-the-barrel Lumia 521. Shuffle a

Currently on vacation and have a rental 2014 Escape with sync. In under 1 minute my phone is synced, iTunes songs playing the stereo, Siri/Google giving my route thru the speakers. So I don't understand what is wrong with this product?

I 100% agree! I HATE Apple! Can't upgrade, charge you so much for EVERTHING. charge crazy prices for something already old and out of date, take something that has already been done then act like it's the greatest invention ever, and yet all the drones still think it's the best thing in the world, Fools!

Great to see

Windows Phone 8 =/= Windows 8.1

I left Android and iPhone for a Q10. I absolutely love mobile again. BlackBerry is so much more functional, stable, sleeker, and useful to me. The app market is great, the new CEO knows what he's doing. BlackBerry isn't going away anytime soon. It's in much better hands, and the current devices are unbelievably well

This is by far the most IDIOTIC decision that ford could have made.... Why dump money into another irrelevant, antiquated OS? The only reason blackberry is still in business is because of enterprise users being stuck with it. Good software will be the nail in the coffin for blackberry with respect to enterprise users.
