Ooh, you are right about that. The victrola though, and the silent movie accurate makeup, are not really all that indicative of the 1930s.

-I hadn't known about the nuclear shades within the mythos of this show, so it reminded me of some similar ideas in Carnivalé. That show also used the testing in Trinity as analogous to us losing our innocence as a species.
-Man, that whole set piece with The Giant and that gorgeous 1920s woman was just mesmerizing.

Anybody want to give me the play-by-play on what actually happened to Lee? I just really didn't have it in me to not fast-forward through that part but my curiosity is getting the better of me.

I actually read the scene as one of Lester being sexually assaulted by her, and I guess now that I think about it, sort of by Bill for pushing something that he wasn't really into from the start. It reminded me of **SEASON 2 AMERICAN HORROR STORY SPOILER** Lily Rabe's demon-possessed nun raping the priest, which of

Love love loooove David Kenyon Webster. POSSIBLE SPOILERS I'm actually in the middle of his book Parachute Infantry, which is honest, informative, funny, and obviously pretty dark. Kind of an underrepresented character, save for his narration in The Last Patrol, but an interesting Brother nonetheless as he was quite
