My little mercury comet (with a rather extensive history of traffic stops) has HLLO5OH on it. California vetoed HIOFFCR, SUP COP, and LICNREG when I tried applying for each one. The ironic part though, in the 5 years since I put the vanity plate on, I haven’t been pulled over even once.

Until I’m out of the grey here, the righteous picture of the truck won’t show I guess...

1978 Dodge Adventurer shortbed. It was my dad’s hunting rig that my mom and I had painted. I thought it was the coolest damn thing ever. Well, at least I thought it was until later years when I had to actually buy the fuel. It turns out a dodge 360 with a 4 barrel carb on top and a full time 4wd drivetrain behind it

I did this a couple seasons at irwindale. It was easily some of the most fun I’ve ever had behind the wheel. Ill never forget my first good spin either. That shit is like a carnival tilt-a-whirl on steroids.

What he neglected to mention was the part where irwindale speedway is permanently closing inside of the next 6 months so it can be torn down to make room for retail space...

Is it unreasonable to hate corvettes? Im not sure it is, but if it is, I’ll go with that. They have never been nearly as revolutionary as theyre played up to be (I mean come on... balsa wood is a main ingredient like it’s a goddamn circa 1950's rubber band propelled toy airplane), and the nut behind the wheel

Yep, my wife’s 06 hemi jeep specifically calls for 89 minimum.

Haha most people on here would cry if they knew about all the cars I’ve bought this way through the years. 1st gen gsx eclipses, 70s e body mopars, jeep cjs, rare mustangs, and a bunch of other crazy shit I can’t even begin to list... The most I ever paid was probably 400, maybe 450 bucks.

Only if Toews happens to be underneath Kane at that particular moment for...umm...reasons...

It’s like Christmas!

Speaking from experience here, this is a very Oregon thing. Never have I, before or since, dealt with government employees who make shit up as they go quite like Oregonians. Fuck that place entirely. I hope they secede with California and fall off into the ocean.

So wait... I’m not supposed to be pushing the limits of my wrangler on a winding mountain road, OR trying to rock crawl with my DD? Why does no one tell me this?

No Murano on the list? I’m surprised...

In a utopian society maybe, but in reality, you’re only setting yourself up for disappointment. It’s not a matter of defending the action, it’s a matter of defending your car from the action.

A car cover isn’t meant to keep anyone out. A garage is meant to do that. A cover protects it from exposure to elements. That’s it. The guy needs a garage if he doesn’t want anyone touching his car. If he can’t afford one, then it’s going to get touched. You can’t park any car in a community area and expect it to

I’m sorely lacking in the motorcycle department with just my 92 RMX250, but I have everything else covered in one way or another. My DD/go everywhere adventure vehicle is an 06 TJ Sport, my hardware store parts hauler is an 85 big block 4x4 F250, my “beach cruiser” (even though there are no beaches to be found for

Yeah, I’ve been regulating my speed via gear selection for years (with and without a working speedometer).

Sorry, I have gotten so used to people referring to any configuration of 6 cylinder engine as a v6 that it doesnt even register that they might actually be referring to 2 banks of 3 cylinders in a 10.5°-120° layout. Years of hearing about original v6 first gen mustangs, original v6 cj-7's, original v6 240z’s, etc.

That ad has not aged well...

I’m glad someone said that.
