This episode had more quotable lines and bits than any other episode in recent memory. Plot wasn’t strong on paper but this episode was hilarious.

In this day and age, it is strange we don't have a wacky workplace comedy in a Incubator/Accelerator or a VC firm. Even network copycats of Silicon Valley. Missed opportunities here.
I assume that they are in a shared workspace . . . which is a neat way of bringing in random characters and cameos. Much better than every episode just featuring him in his basement office, typing furiously.
My favorite part tonight was that they actually showed Alan/Van break character when saying the line about her stories driving her mother to kill herself. The little smirk before they cut away was glorious.
