Wow, that’s a fucking travesty!
Wow, that’s a fucking travesty!
I’ve checked it out 3 times now and it really does a better job than you might think (from a solitary viewing) at putting the themes of the original through a prism and showing what may come out the other side. I’ll be going again this week.
“It was a stretch to even have them meet up with Leia during the first season.”
I thought it was a more than worthy sequel to a film that didn’t need one. If you’ve only seen it once, you haven’t seen it enough.
Look, I’m going from what was literally said in the series, not some presumptions. You say there were ships specifically built for combat, well the primary (would be) weapon against the Borg wasn’t even completed for 2 more years after Wolf 359 and by many appearances the Defiant was the only vessel of it’s class…
It really wasn’t. The Borg were simply a catalyst to DS9, the events of Wolf 359 in spite of having massive casualties for Starfleet still didn’t make much of a dent when it came to the war with the Klingon’s and then the Dominion War. You just completely ignored what I just said about that.
What’s that? Police resorting to character assassination of the victims? It’s not like that’s worked befo.... Ohhhhhhh...
Too little too late.
“With GTA V, the single-player game was absolutely massive and very, very complete.”
People looking at screens everywhere? Sounds like going out in public.
Doesn’t jive with the information given in the shows. Of the 40 ships at 359, 39 of them were destroyed.
There’s nothing to sync up with -really-. Star Trek has never been acutely concerned with continuity unless it served a story. In fact during the Braga era of the show continuity was all but ignored, which explains how the Federation managed to survive the war with the Klingon’s and THEN the Dominion after getting…
Probably because Lucas never had any good idea of what kind of abilities “the Force” allows one to have until EU material (mostly video games, Super Star Wars series, Dark Forces: Jedi Knight) changed all that (recall the messed up shit that went down in Splinter of the Mind’s Eye, Lucas approved).
Fuck that. He was integral for setting the stage for all the bullshit we’re dealing with now. Asshole belongs in prison.
That game actually rocked. I remember being super impressed with the water physics at the time. I wonder how it would hold up after some time with Black Flag.
Ninja Gaiden Black, Jade Empire, Crimson Skies, Burnout 3 (Paradise is wonderful but I miss the simplicity of the closed circuit tracks), Mercenaries there’s probably more but that’s it for now.
You’re projecting again.
You have done an awful lot of projecting to come to this conclusion. I speak of religion as a concept, of taking fictions as fact and using that to condemn or otherwise subjugate those that do not subscribe to said dogma.
Your reading comprehension is appalling.
