Yeah, finding for MSRP can be rough. I know we (Hyundai dealer I work for) have a commitment to never sell over sticker, but I also know we have all of our allocated SC’s sold already and I have no idea where in the country you are anyway :P Good luck getting what you’re looking for!

Yeah. I didn’t realize until I started working at a Hyundai dealer (yeah, full disclosure) just how many segments they have vehicles in, while other makes are focusing on specific segments. (I mean, because of the current manufacturing climate, good luck FINDING an Accent - I think we had one on allocation last month,

I meant more models - 24 as opposed to Ford’s 18. But yes, Ford has more manufacturing capacity in general, so of course they’re making more to be sold, so thank you.

So what you’re saying is the Santa Cruz sold 8,400 as compared to its most direct competitor, the Ridgeline, at 9,189 - selling almost as much as its competitor that’s been established for a decade or more! Cool.

Interesting; the experience on r/volt is quite different!

A Volt battery giving out that early is atypical. They’re typically lasting well over 200k with only nominal degradation. Considering how the Volt babies the battery (won’t deplete under 10%, won’t charge over 90%), I find a battery starting to die at 147k to indicate a more one-off issue.

1st: Hyundai is expanding it too, though not quite that much; a Hyundai Certified Used Vehicle, as it’s been renamed, is now 6-year 80,000mi as opposed to the old Hyundai Certified Pre-Owned 5-year 60,000mi.

Interestingly, in my own take I said more coupes should be quad-coupes (like the RX-8 exception there). Coupe for “I only drive me and maybe 1 passenger 99% of the time), rear doors for stuff and that last 1%.

How is this different from the original settlement? Does this just mean that it took this long to go through? I remember this back in September and am struggling to see this as a separate story.

This being written in 2015, it was a very different time, and I’d argue it’s not as evergreen as the editorial board were hoping when it comes to reposting stuff.

Man, I miss Lehto’s stuff, totally forgot about it. That was a good era of Jalopnik.

Someone else posted this, and I’ll say the same thing here - I have a massive soft spot for these and listed it as one of my favorites when Jalopnik asked the bests last year.

Uh, counterpoint, when Jalopnik asked what our favorites were last year, this was one of mine.

Because when we have to charge a loaner, a used new arrival, and three Ioniq 5s off the truck, it’ll be really nice when they’re not all vying for the same level 2 charger.

Yes. I work at a Hyundai dealer that at this point has the chargers installed (went in over the winter) and we’re just waiting on the ground to thaw to get hooked up to the higher capacity electrical service. In addition to needing them in for Hyundai’s requirements, it also helps us on the lot - last week we needed

More coupes should be quad coupes.

First, pretty sure that wasn’t there when they went up again a couple days ago; second, I feel like it should be at the top. In the past, there’s the intro paragraph, then a note saying when it was originally published, before continuing.

Cars 2 exists because of the opening scene with Sig Hansen as the Northwestern.

I’m late to this article but this is the *perfect* gif for this article.

Sure, we could wait for those battery revolutions to hit, or we could do something now. Kudos to Electrify America for this.
