Yeah, that was my concern too, haha.

It’s just bizarre that there’s no note that they’re republished. I read another one today and saw a comment that said, “It’s 2019, why is this still a thing,” or something. This one I straight-up remembered from when it was originally posted.
Why are three-year-old articles by Tom getting reposted to the front page without context?
The car key thing has been on Android for a while, AFAIK it hasn’t caused any major issues and this is Apple playing catch-up.
The HR-V is totally serviceable. The segment is something I grudgingly accept as “what people who don’t need SUVs” can drive, and the HR-V itself is fine. Looks middle-of-the-road-Honda, performs fine. It’s acceptable and decently priced, reasonably sized, and not cumbersome to maneuver around.
I feel like correcting you to “his” but I don’t want to get “corrected” by people who don’t get the reference.
I mean, there’s a nonzero chance Putin won’t be a going concern by the time the cosmonauts come back, so they could have that going for them.
Sorry, I just skimmed the article with the Erin byline and didn’t notice the bit about the ferry, was just directly responding to the person who drew a line around the sea as though that were the only route currently.
I mean, there’s always justifying theft from trainyards. And soon justifying theft from robo-trucks! Truly the horizons are endless.
If someone is at the speed of traffic, I 100% agree with you. If they’re going less than half the speed limit though, then yes, turn on the flashers. Let us know there’s something to pay attention to.
EDIT: Never mind, my mind was responding to a line of thought in a different thread.
It may not matter but I was absolutely going to ask anyway.
Ah, Spring Hill... *wistful, teary-eyes Saturn nostalgia*
I mean, there is undoubtedly a ferry service of some sort, but sure.
I mean without doing math I was thinking close to a hundred, then read that they’d only made off with 20, and that’s enough for the joke to work, let me tell ya.
I can’t stand him at all, but the “apartheid blood emerald mine” thing isn’t true. His dad mouthed off about it once thirty years ago and it was parroted by a bad journalist, all attempts to verify since then have turned up nothing.
I have a 2017, I notice when the engine kicks in but otherwise, except at idle, I really don’t notice it. (I do have non-LRR tires so there’s a bit more road noise than stock, but not by much.) Never drove a 1st-gen to compare.
Aside from removing a couple words, the word list is still the same. These rhyme words have been in the game, coded in since it was made back in, what, October? You’re just more inclined to use NYT as a scapegoat when rhyme words or a string of uncommon words comes up.
Ugh, NO. I dislike even the tiny extra vibration I get when my Volt’s engine kicks in. Seriously, there’s road noise from tires and air around the cabin, there’s a bit of sensation from the tires on the road, just... just stop. Stop making EVs worse to try to drag misguided ICE diehards kicking and screaming into…
