Thing is, the Republicans haven’t offered a single substantive policy solution to the country’s economic issues. They’re running solely on guns, Jesus and “it’s Biden’s fault gas is $5 a gallon!”

Calling it a “unicorn” maybe overly optimistic. But your options at this price point are generally pretty awful, so this one seems solid by comparison. If you’re looking for a cash car for a teenager, or just need transportation on a tight budget…I’d say this qualifies as a NP for what it is.

“I saw multiple beers to the point where it was 40 bucks.”

iPhone 13s have MagSafe.

A decade of being invested in the Apple ecosystem does kind of hamstring you technology-wise. I mean, I’m not totally blown away by the current generation of Apple hardware or iteration of iOS, but replacing a couple hundred bucks worth of paid apps and media, moving a decade’s worth of photos and documents out of

The quantitative health benefits of coffee may be up for debate, but I’m pretty certain that a sudden interruption in my coffee intake could shorten my lifespan. Between the mortal danger presented by being cranky and short with my spouse in the morning, to the threat of impending unemployment that would go with the dr

So…I’m guessing that she’s not aware that the smallpox vaccine can also prevent monkeypox?

My former employer pulled this move last fall. Needless to say, it hasn’t exactly gone well. There was a mass exodus of talent, myself included. They were basically left with the extreme extroverts who were chomping at the bit to RTO because WFH was killing them, the low performers who couldn’t find other/better jobs

Moreover, factory workers have a physical component to their job. You literally cannot work on a production line from home…that’d be like trying to be a WFH dental hygienist or concrete finisher.

I mean, they think we’re still in the “it’s too soon, don’t politicize a tragedy” period after the Tops shooting in Buffalo and now…this?

This about sums up the American approach to gun violence and mass shootings.

Ah, but mandating that manufacturers include them in new cars doesn’t mean that you must personally use them. In the spirit of freedom, justice, the ‘Murican way, etc…you could just drive an older car.

My (now former) employer did that last fall. Needless to say, I left for a permanently fully remote gig with another company.

Yeah, there comes a point when you’ve got like 6 or 7 different streaming services to get specific content from each that it ends up costing you about as much as a conventional cable package. And you have to make some executive decisions about what’s actually worth it on a monthly basis and what makes more sense to sub

Yeah, I have to say that I’m really kind of on the fence about Netflix now. It used to be kind of a given, since it was kind of revolutionary back in the day and it was baked into our T-mobile service for the past few years. And they’ve had some good shows over the years. But they’ve also lost a lot of their good

Hey, at least Beanie Babies have some basic level of intrinsic value as stuffed animals that make little kids happy and decorate knickknack shelves. In the absence of monetary value, crypto is just a line of code in a computer that reminds you to reevaluate your life choices.

Never is a very long time, and zero is a very specific value.

It’ll hemorrhage progressively more users and advertisers as it becomes even more awful and toxic, and become this generation’s AOL/Time Warner merger in terms of corporate hubris and wasted capital.

You’re certainly right that the issue of abortion should have been codified with federal legislation at some point since the early 70s, instead of just leaving it reliant on a court precedent. Nothing short of a Constitutional amendment would make it unassailable, but it would have made it a lot harder to repeal.

Yeah, the idea that the Dems have enough control to get anything accomplished at this point is laughable. They may have the numbers to jam up any truly offensive Republican legislative priorities (at least until the midterms), but their slim majority is so hamstrung by a couple of DINO senators that they’re
