We’ve been able to make it work because of some of the freebies, bundles and ancillary benefits - Netflix comes with our T-Mobile phone service, HBO Max comes with our AT&T fiber broadband, we got in on the Hulu/Disney+/ESPN bundle for like $14/mo and Amazon Prime Video is a nice perk on top of a service…

There’s a comforting degree of anonymity to wearing one, especially when paired with some sunglasses. They keep your face warm when it’s cold out (without the threatening connotation of a ski mask). Counterpoint: COVID isn’t the only virus that can be transmitted by expelled droplets. This has been the first winter I can remember where I didn’t get a cold or a cough. I normally have at least 5-6 between October and March. It has been fucking glorious.

I’m all for saving money, but there are some limits as to how much I’ll cheap out on something. I don’t mind going with a $20-$30 pair of Chi-Fi buds (KZ, Edifier, etc)...but a pair of Walmart store brand buds? Eh. Those go in the same category as Walmart store brand sneakers. The Achilles’ heel on the 12 is likely going to be the battery, not the storage. That’s my big hesitation in upgrading.
