The Venn diagram of people who say “...but all lives matter!” and people who think the civil rights movement in the 1960s “fixed all that racial stuff” is almost a perfect circle.

I’m pretty sure King George sent a sternly worded proclamation to the colonial governors eerily similar to the Trumpster’s speech this evening after the Boston Tea Party.
Ugh. And how long until he reaches the next level of paranoid alt-right shitheadery and declares George Soros an enemy of the state as dangerous as Osama Bin Laden was?
Both are were amazing PC RPGs for their time, but A) I can’t imagine they’ve aged well, especially for people used to playing modern RPGs and B) My eyes hurt just thinking about reading that much tiny text on such a small screen.

I’m over 40, I can speak in complete sentences and those sentences end in punctuation, regardless of where I’m writing them.
Congratulations. I’d considered getting one (if I stumbled across it), but in this environment...my SO would kick my ass for throwing down $300 on a new game system, another $100 or so in new accessories and then still needing to buy all-new games.
I get the sentiment and I agree with it in principle... but a large, organized group of black folks with loaded semiautomatic rifles and body armor marching on the MN state house?
Only because people were judging a worst case scenario by W, Bush I or Reagan. Now that we’ve seen how much worse the worst case scenario can actually be...there are going to be a lot fewer folks saying “they’re equally awful.”
There are a lot more (and easier) clicks in “OMFG, THE WORLD IS ON FIRE AND THESE IDIOTS ARE MAKING IT SO MUCH WORSE!!!” than in thoughtful, well-researched reporting on the challenges and trade-offs of responsible governing.
Plus, it’s probably unrealistic to hope that RBG has 4+ more years on the bench left in her. Whoever wins this election will nominate at least one SCOTUS seat. And a conservative supermajority on the Supreme Court would be a problem for a generation, doing vastly more lasting damage than any one President likely…
Does he not realize that Henry Ford was openly anti-Semitic and a Nazi sympathizer opposed to the US getting involved in WW2?
I wouldn’t be at all happy about it, but there are several dozen worse options...
And don’t forget the big voter fraud commission that he set up shortly after the election, with super-voter-fraud-watchdog Chris Kobach at the helm. That was disbanded quietly a few months later, having been unable to produce any evidence of actual voter fraud.
It’s the “or otherwise” that concerns me.
Either that, or he actually has lupus or RA and takes it to manage them...but won’t openly admit to having a chronic illness for fear of looking “weak.”
Reader’s accusation is a clearly calculated trap. Hard to say if it’s being driven by more extreme elements in the party willing to burn everything down because their candidate lost, by the Republicans, or by foreign intelligence services that just want to sow hate and discontent. No matter how you cut it, it’s…
I’m pretty sure that kind of thing ends with riots in the streets of major metropolitan areas.
Y’all end up hog-tying a lady at gunpoint for wearing a stormtrooper costume on May 4th (Star Wars day)?
For future public appearances, Mother is now recommending Mikey dress more appropriately:
Elon’s a couple bad days and a polite request to wear a mask at Costco away from going completely Andrew Ryan and trying to build an underwater (ok, maybe orbital) libertarian utopia.
