That’s the problem - unless the government gets truly draconian in enforcing lockdown measures (which would get immediately challenged in court), it has somewhat limited options to protect people from themselves.

Until/unless there’s a really stellar trade-in deal for my old XB1 on a series X, I know I have minimal reason to upgrade for the first couple years. Catching up on my backlog as it lands on GamePass keeps me plenty busy with the little bit of time I can devote to gaming nowadays.
