I would definitely agree that Life is Strange belongs on the list. It’s got some quirks, but it’s a fun ride. That being said...the prequel, Before the Storm, is arguably a better game and a more touching story (once you’re invested in the characters from the first game - it probably wouldn’t make a ton of sense

That was my first thought: OMFG, an ad for a literal tinfoil hat.

I don’t even know how the hell you end up going from administrative assistant to labradoodle breeder to...HHS chief of staff.

She does have a strong “Cruella DaVille” vibe...

Peter Thiel is almost impossible to take seriously as a normal human being, but he would be a great campy Bond villain.

Though, in fairness, that’s a risk in buying just about any Android phone that’s not a Pixel, a OnePlus or a Samsung flagship.

Looks like a solid package. But as a die-hard T-Mo customer, the Verizon exclusivity is a no-go. And the $1k price tag is hard to swallow. I get that a comparable Samsung is $200 more, but being a Moto phone locked to one carrier...that thing is going to have shit for resale or trade-in value.

This feels like the setup for a James Bond movie.

But if the budget mode is going to have that reduced a capacity, is it really worth a premium over an XB1X? Especially early in the release lifecycle of the product, when there isn’t a ton of next-gen content to start with - seems kind of like a waste.

The real Florida is south of the I-4 corridor - white sand beaches, blue water, the Everglades, authentic Caribbean restaurants and plenty of elderly New Yorkers.

Bills. I’m spending mine on bills.

To which I say, fuck those people. If they were  cool with Trump and a Republican senate blowing up the federal budget...the federal budget was clearly not that important to start with.

We all have our breaking point, I guess. Hers just happens to be embarrassingly shallow and trivial.

What better time is there to start squawking about wanting a smaller, more limited government than when there’s a pandemic that requires a coherent, coordinated national response by qualified experts in their respective fields?

Insurance companies are already balking at paying out on business interruption policies due to pandemic-related closures. I can’t imagine a pandemic-related casualty claim will be paid out without a great deal of effort and drama.

I’ll just stick to running and riding my bike on the trails near my home, thanks.

And this is why we’re going to end up with a second wave of COVID-19 cases in a couple months.

This seems like a solution in search of a problem, especially when you can buy a decent set of “formal” headphones and decent set of “sports” headphones for less than half the price of what these things will probably sell for.

Yeah, I could see bringing her into the administration at a cabinet level, leveraging her civil rights and legal background (maybe labor or HUD?). But as a VP pick...it could undermine the “stand back and let the experienced professionals run the show” message that Biden seems to be going for.

While I like Stacey’s educational and professional accomplishments, and I think she’d approach the role with the absolute best of intentions...her lack of practical experience in government beyond the state legislature level is a bit of a hurdle.
