I would say the soundtracks from Life is Strange and Before the Storm fall into this category. The slower pace of the games and the fact that they carve out some gameplay time to just relax and listen to the music really emphasize the importance of it to the experience.

Man, it’d take a Santa Claus beard to obscure that neck.

Who knew that Independence Day might be so prescient?

Wait a minute. So, the only thing that stopped the US from going to war in Iran was....Tucker Carlson?

My youngest daughter (who’s 7) recently stumbled across the current iteration of Muppet Babies and binged them. As a child in the 80s, I had liked the show and was happy that they’d brought it back. Getting my older kids into the Muppets had been an uphill battle until the 2011 movie.

It’s only a no-brained if you’re not a Republican politician desperate to keep 1.4 million people who are disproportionately poor, black and concentrated in urban areas (aka, Democratic voters) from becoming a threat to your party’s stranglehold on state politics.

Throwing a few million dollars at a restitution resolution fund would go a lot further toward turning Florida solidly purple than spending exponentially more on campaign contributions and PACs, that’s for sure.

Seriously. I wish I could follow baseball. I like it for about 30 minutes at a shot. But there’s now way in hell I’m ever going to even try to stay on top of a sport where each team has like 100 regular season games.  That’s not a hobby, that’s a part-time job.

She’s like a 30 minute long Phish jam version of Rod Stewart’s Maggie May, being listened to after eating one too many magic brownies: Equal parts sexy, surreal, hard to tolerate when you’re not high and completely irrelevant to legitimate political discourse.

Yeah, the people squawking about age discrimination here seem to forget that the criteria for “fitness to lead the free world” is dramatically different from “is it safe for grandpa to still live on his own”.

I would put Warren as my favored candidate at this point. Her foreign policy stances could be better, but she’s the best overall combination of progressive ideas, political savvy and relevant experience. She’s the real deal on her policies and her beliefs, and I wouldn’t doubt her commitment to them at all

Joe was really showing his age tonight. He really should be sleeping in most days and playing more golf, not trying to run for president.

But aren’t all chaps, by their very nature, assless? Because if the weren’t, they’d just be an extra-baggy pair of leather pants.

I can’t say that Beto was anywhere near the top of my list before tonight’s debate, but man...he’s definitely a hard pass now.

As a claim in a vacuum, I don’t disagree that there’s not much political fuel here. It’s not a new allegation against Trump; Trumpkins have already decided it doesn’t matter and the anti-Trump crowd already knows he’s a sexual predator.

Specifically, the election of “Contract With America” Republicans, led by Newt Gingrich. The complete rejection of Reagan/Bush I era moderate conservatism by the Republican base, and the idea that federal budgets should be held hostage until Republican demands were met.  That’s basically when civility became

Civility is the preferred approach when everyone treats one another with at least some degree of respect and an appreciation for their countervailing viewpoint.

Yep. Reporting an assault 23 years after the fact doesn’t mean it’s any less traumatic that it happened, or any less true that it happened. But it does make it exponentially harder to prove in court.

1) Who the hell is this woman?

And this is precisely why I walked away from academia when I finished my master’s. Would I have loved to have stayed, gotten my PhD and gone on to a career in research and teaching? Very much so. Was I willing to spend most of my adult life as an academic gypsy, living in poverty and chasing an elusive tenure-track
