No love for the menu music from Life is Strange: Before the Storm (Right Way Around by Daughter)? Bummer.

Yeah...even if true, this is just another random Tuesday for Trump unless there’s actually ironclad enough evidence to impeach him for suborning perjury.

If it was true that this was shoddy journalism or outright falsification, Buzzfeed News likely would have thrown Leopold and Cormier under the bus and apologized immediately. The fact that they’re standing their ground and publicly asking the special counsel’s office to actually specify what about the story isn’t

My problem with LiS2 wasn’t it’s politics. Lord knows, if you’re cool with the LGBTQ themes in the original LiS and BTS, you’re probably also not offended to admit that racism is still a real thing.

So, a permanent wall in exchange for a temporary reprieve on some immigration concerns?

Well, it’s pretty clear the developers thought sacrifice Chloe was the “right” ending. And I suppose it’s the responsible/moral ending. It wasn’t the ending that was true to Max’s journey or the person she had become, though.

The first may be a little white hipster angsty, but it does have some solid LGBTQ+ subtext (if that makes a difference for you).  Overall, it was a really good game - if you have an XB1 and GamePass, I’d encourage you to give it a try.  The only risk is a little bit of download time.

I dunno...that kiss with Chloe if you pick the “save Arcadia Bay” ending is pretty hard to misinterpret.

Also note that the special counsel’s statement was very ambiguous to what about the story isn’t accurate.

I’m replaying Life is Strange with some new perspective (and because I haven’t gotten over Chloe and Max enough to start LiS 2), after having just finished Before the Storm.

Sooooo...she’s basically just Hillary Clinton without 25 years of talk radio hate and right-wing conspiracy mongering to drag behind her?

If my subscription wasn’t bundled into my T-Mobile bill, I’d be annoyed. Netflix has been culling their movie catalog for years, and replacing it with Netflix-exclusives...75%+ of which seems like either complete garbage or stuff I’m not even remotely interested in.

Or unless you’re one of those guys that can’t justify throwing down another $600-$800 to replace a 5 year old 45” TV that still works perfectly well, just because it only displays content in 1080p.

How can you fail to light gasoline on fire if you’re even remotely trying?

I’m pleasantly surprised, but still suspicious that this is somehow a trap.

Hail, Hydra!

That’s...uncomfortably realistic and disheartening.

Personally, I’m anticipating the March release of Tiamat’s Wrath by James S.A. Corey dramatically more than anything that’s actually on this list.

Yeah, the future envisioned in The Expanse is becoming a lot more plausible - Earth as an overcrowded, environmentally devastated mess, and humanity forced to adapt to Mars and the Belt as a new frontier if they want to survive.

And even if you did, you’d need the executive branch to enforce it...which clearly wouldn’t happen at this point.
