Dibs on using it for a Trump-themed dispensary.

Better to close out while the show can be fondly remembered (Firefly, Millennium) than hang on too long, only to fizzle out and eventually become a sad parody of itself (OUaT, Lost).

The fact that she went against Franken wasn’t the issue, so much as how she went about it. Calling for a thorough investigation and hearings, and coming to a more formal resolution would have been the way to go. Going straight for the jugular and demanding his resignation without any structure to the process just fed

This makes about as much sense as someone who has to keep strict orthodox kosher being pissed that their in-laws keep taking them to barbecue restaurants.

I think a lot of the rage came from how The Doctor perceived his role in the Time War; pent-up self-loathing, really. But the Day of the Doctor sorted that out, and 12’s (Capaldi’s) return to Gallifrey brought a sense of closure to the issue. The Doctor doesn’t have to carry that burden anymore, and can get back to

It’s like someone put Flash Gordon, Tim Burton’s Batman and The Meg into a blender.

La Croix is what you’d get if someone managed to bottle the flavor of regret and missed opportunities.

As much as I’d like to see a Justice League Dark film, DC has crammed too much world-building into their team efforts so far. I’d rather see GDT do right by a few of the characters one by one first, and worry about the team later.

The Instant Pot is really handy for turning a frozen-solid chuck roast or boneless turkey breast into an edible dinner in 45 minutes at pressure (with an extra 10-15 minutes build up and depressurization time). Beyond that...it’s usually more trouble than it’s worth for most of the “magical” uses I’ve tried with it.

Why? WHY???

Possibly. It was a complete train wreck, and needs to be ridiculed at every opportunity.

I see this ending about as well as Venom with no Spider-Man.

I know I stopped paying attention to it when we stayed on blinking neon orange for like three years straight toward the end of the Bush administration.

In a fight between a senile old coot who’s so centrist that he’s practically a Reagan-era Republican and goddamn Voldemort, Tim Tebow could well be a lesser evil at this point. Zero policy chops and awkwardly religious beliefs, but at least he doesn’t seem like a train wreck of a human being.

I, for one, am looking forward to two years of complete legislative gridlock. Because accomplishing nothing is far preferable to sending the country in completely the wrong direction.

When Yaz was showing her Nan the henna painting on her hands at the end of the episode, I was so waiting for her Nan to just say, “Now you know the story behind the watch.”  Missed opportunity.

The theme of family seems like it’s got to come back around to The Doctor herself at some point this season. It was implied in previous seasons that The Doctor’s classic-era family all died in the Time War, but that was pretty well-trodden in the 9th Doctor’s run (and revisited in the 11th’s run and the 50th

Fresh cranberry sauce is ok, I guess. It’s fancy, and can have some interesting flavors. But it isn’t really Thanksgiving to me.

Had he not supported Trump in 2016, he could have been a consideration. But as an “I’ll fucking burn it all down because Hillary was mean to Bernie” kind of Bernie Bro...he'll never make it past the primaries, and with good reason.
