Do we really think a superhero sequel that had to be completely rewritten after the Star passed away is really gonna win an Oscar for anything other than costumes or special effects? Especially given Marvels very uneven output since Endgame

I’d argue the anti-capitalist themes are more of a background to hang the show on, and the primary narrative is centered around the contestants and whether or not they decide to be human beings or animals.

Some cool wins for Squid Game. Still not down for the supposed Season 2 Netflix wants. The last episode alone showed that digging too deep into the concept just unravels it in bad ways.

Yes.  The movie about the 60 year-old man who can fly the end mission from Star Wars a million times better than a bunch of 20 year-olds is definitely not a wish-fulfillment superhero movie.
