Who’s got Spanfeller’s contact info, I am cooking up one hell of a Dead Letter right now.
Yeah, it’s nice to see the evidence backs up the gut feeling that many commenters have discussed over the years - that the site’s point of view and political pieces are its strengths, not a necessary evil tagging along. (Internet commentariats are not necessarily accurate representations of their parent sites, but it…
This may sound strange, but when I visit the site I feel like I’m amongst friends. I’ve obviously not met any of the writers, but after spending a decade reading their work and watching them evolve and grow through the years I feel personally invested in the site. I’m eager to read the personal tone of each…
As someone who works in PR, and who oversees ad buys on social media and web platforms, I literally let out a laugh when you mentioned the word “pageviews.” No one who does this job pays a lot of attention to pageviews as a stand-alone metric any longer. That hasn’t been our model for years.
Apparently the Time Bureau is dissolved next season and Ava is living with Sara on the Waverider, which probably means Gary will be retired from the show (which I think it is time for, too).
As “F-U, I’m outta here letters go,” this one is pretty classy and filled with real evidence. Good luck, Megan!
Counter: Liverpool were a shitshow at the turn of the decade, ownership was a joke and to illustrate they used the Torres money to buy Andy Fucking Carroll.
I think this is a bummer and a weird choice, given that both actors apparently wanted to stay on the show. I get that cast turnover is sort of built into the show and has helped keep it fresh, but Nora just joined the team and seemed to just be starting her journey as a hero, and their characters just got together…
yeah but no one cares about rip
It started with her saying it’d be a nice thing for me to do for her going-away.
The A’s home whites are one of the nicest uniforms in baseball.
That right there. Julia is very much a bait and switch. We get glimpses and mentions of her throughout. And both the viewers, and the other characters on the show, make assumptions.
And then she shows up. And those expectations are blown up. The trick is that though we’re seeing that particular story via Spike, it…
Yeah the point is that she’s as much a concept in Spike’s memory as she is a real human being. She’s the perfect, innocent, “dead wife”...until she very much isn’t.
For one thing, Julia only actually appears in the final two episodes of the original anime series, though she is referenced a few times throughout (building her up into a figure of ominous importance to Spike)
Winkler last year, Carrigan this year. I’m ‘bout it.
Like most people, they criticize in others what they secretly despise about themselves, you fat asshole.
The Defenechstration of Houston
He 100% deserves that statue this year.
They wouldn’t bring about a Fringe reunion (Torv and Cerveris) just for Gunn to be a nice guy. He is definitely manipulating everybody, even pretending he got the OPM case dismissed.
