@Priper: Lets not forget the fact that most discounted sets for today are brands that skimp on the quality. Will they handle 1080p? Yes. Will they look good doing it? No. You get what you pay for. My advice would be to skip the $300 40" sets, and look for name brand sets that have dropped their prices by $2-500.
