How did you possibly take that to mean a comedy can’t just be funny anymore? OFMD had a lot more than comedy to it. The love story and overall heart of the show is what made it such a hit. The comedy was great too, but the “raw emotionality” is what made it special.

The first season of OFMD was spectacular, one of my favorite shows from the past several years. The second season had almost no chance to live up to the first. C+??? You don’t even give a basis for such a low score. I think you just don’t really like Curb Your Enthusiasm. It was a funny episode, it had a tight plot, and I laughed out loud a couple times (which I don’t usually do). I’m really curious what episode of any comedy you would rate an A, or even a B+.
