Snyder’s cut was so bad that the studio decided to reshoot all of Superman’s scenes and spend tens of millions of dollars removing Cavill’s moustache rather than just use the Superman stuff Snyder shot.

The first like twenty minutes of A New Hope were two droids walking around the desert.  I guess that was bad too because “lack of story”!
