Ahh yes, all those grand shining cities with all their affordable housing and jobs. Congrats Brad, you win forever. I guess its time to stop visiting Jalopnik when its contributors turn in to whiny twits whenever some critiques their takes.

Sorry Brad, this is a bad take.
NP for sure, The cars got personality! Plus you can’t touch driver quality classics for under 10K US these days.
This is why I think more range is actually important from an infrastructure stand point. you actually want cars that can hold enough energy that they only have to be charged once a week or two. that would theoretically spread out the strain on the power grid.
I think you are correct a 300.
300 miles should be the benchmark. Yes is more than most people use but its enough to make most people feel comfortable that they can go where they want without having to take multiple long stops.
This is the smartest, dumb thing I’ve ever seen on this sight. I use these all the time at the parts store and it never once occurred to me I could buy my own. THANK YOU!
it will probably have bacon on it.
These purveyors of food think they can get one by on the internet by doing some fancy marketing and rolling out a “Brand new” “First ever” product. Next McDonalds will announce they that they will soon be offering a “Once in a Lifetime” rib sandwich.
I think unfortunately the geezerz (boomers), are having a hard time understanding that they are not the target demographic anymore for most forms of media and entertainment.
I believe the song goes, “If you cant be with the car you love honey, love the car you get.
Nailed it! The reality is that SUV and CUV are the real Soccer mom vehicles for the current generation of parents. You’re not fooling anyone and certainly don’t look any cooler driving a Traverse or Pilot than a Honda Odyssey. People just don’t want to drive what their mom did in the 80s and 90s even though most would…
Zweifel motors in Piedmont SD might be the place to look. Its way out in the middle of nowhere but they deal in big body GM cars from the 50-70s
The key here might actually be to look for a same model year Buick Invicta or Lesabre. Same body just different trim levels, once you’ve got it you can fix it up however you want.
Actually only about a hundred pounds more than the V6 and if you jack that thing up to between 700 and 1000 HP is probably a non issue.
This is the correct response. Lots of jobs are under some sort of surveillance for quality assurance, liability or other reasons. If you have and objection to that get a different job. Literally every Bank, Retail chain, and most tech company’s are under surveillance during operating hours. This is not new or unique…
Id love to see the new raptor with a forced induction version of the 7.3L Godzilla motor. Tuners have already pushed the stock block 7.3 up to 1400 HP with a supercharger and other upgrades.
