I love art challenges and I love new art, but a prize of an art book of $40 or less is just insulting especially coming from a well established company as WotC.

@John_Hazard: I totally disagree, don't let yourself be fooled into thinking that what was relevant to our generation isn't relevant today. If you allow art (or something like the RHPS) to be changed your then depriving those from this generation from even discovering its meaning.

@Mastiff: Obviously your not an artist that has seen one of your works watered down to be palatable for children or the bible belt. Especially when they are not the intended target.

@Oasx: I said akin, not exactly is like. As an artist, If someone was to take the intended meaning behind one of my works and change it, it is no longer a homage or another version. It is a fundamental change to the work and I would tell that person to piss off.

Art should never be compromised, cleaned up or made g-rated.
