But sometimes you do. When I was in high school my FWD Passat with Micheline X Ice snow tires regularly couldn’t make it up my friends driveway on snowy or icy days and those are some of the best snow tires you can get. If you lived there, you literally wouldn’t be able to leave their place unless you wanted to start

The lv3 is a gm 4.3 liter. It's also the engine the 2.7t replaced

That engine replaced the ancient 4.3-liter V6.

I agree. I was strongly considering a M3 for my next car, but what’s the point in it when I’ll never use the power and it’ll just be more uncomfortable than the step down. The only thing I’m really giving up are cooler looks and somewhat better seats, but gaining comfort and cash in my wallet.

lol this is such a bad take.

Literally kind of what they’ve been doing since inception, so what were you expecting? The Integra is exactly what you’d expect: more features, luxury stuff, options above the Civic with the Civic’s current best engine and an automatic options. The Type S will be the civilized (and hopefully AWD) version of the Type R

The interior of Tacoma is where it really shines”

Whatever inevitable Type S/R comes out will be more your flavor if that’s the case. The people who were actually around in the 90s will remember that most integras were non-VTEC LS sedans with a 4-speed auto. The GSR was pretty rare, and the ITR was basically nonexistent in the wild since they made so few of them and

It’s not that they’re lying about the benefits, it’s that they’re omitting key details. Lying by omission, one might say. One big advantage with C4-C6 Corvette suspension is it deforms both ways almost equally, under compression and extension. Because it’s a stack of leaf bars hanging down instead of holding up.

This is why it is pointless to lose your temper while driving. If you feel yourself getting frustrated, take a minute and a few deep breaths, and do it again properly. And if you still can’t do it, call it undoable and go do something else.

Hyundais are invariably junk, and sedans are a compromise none need make in 2022.

As sad as this is, if the Ioniq 6 is a true replacement for the sonata, with a comparable price (cost of ownership), size, and performance of the sonata, than this is fine.

1st gear - surely this is also caused by the fact that cars are just better now? As much as some people like to complain and disagree, think about your average car from the mid-90's compared to your average car from the mid-2000's (the cars that are pushing this average up). It’s night and day. And never cars still

I don’t understand the last sentence about having the government help. Yes, they can make it cheaper for people to get cars, but that will drive up demand and use up more lithium.

Breaking the land yacht speed record? I did that in my 93 Buick Lesabre back in 1999 when I got my license. Record still stands, I think.

South Floridian here, no idea how it’s remotely possible to get killed at any of our crossings. The train isn’t killing anyone, people are going out of their way to get killed

There’s only so much you can do sadly. Suicide by train is very much a thing and it’s perfectly plausible that 75% of the deaths are intentional. Yes, it is hard on drivers. They are warned about it during recruitment.

I feel like a huge part of the problem are those 178 rail crossings over just 66.5 miles. That’s a rail crossing every 1,973 feet (601 meters) compared to one every 9,916 feet (3,022 meters) for CalTrain. That’s more than five times the number of railway crossings per unit distance, which is just another way of saying

People playing chicken with a train is not a tragedy, it’s people paying the price for stupidity. This might be the dumbest of the oh so many dumb takes here.
