Except everyone expects it to have the same features as more expensive cars so they just buy the lightly used few year old model for what you wanted this thing to be priced at new.  If the market existed in significant numbers, the manufacturers would be marketing vehicles in this space.

Same here with wrong wheel drive. I have the Sonata N Line now and love it. It breaks traction fairly easily but honestly that is part of the fun. It makes me smile and still hooks up well despite no LSD, you just have to be smart about throttle management.

Those who buy it will love the engine. I am about 1k miles into my ownership of a Sonata N Line with the same engine, rated at 290hp though. The N Line and K5 GT use a wet dual clutch 8 speed and it is awesome. Not sure if the 8 speed in the Stinger will be as fast to shift, I doubt it, possibly erasing the 10 hp

Hyundai, in particular, has enough tech, uniqueness, etc on their own, they don’t need Apple, Apple needs them. Right now, seems like most auto mfgs are flat out with their own unique products and projects and wouldn’t have the resources (currently) to assist.

“Over about 14 hours, the trickle of electrons from my wall outlet added 13 percent of charge, going from 86 miles to 113 miles, for a total of 27 miles.”

Pontiac.

It won’t help safety of anyone else, the only beneficiary is the motorcycle rider. Just another thing for another class of people that feel entitled to be able to get ahead because they bought a smaller piece of equipment to get down the road.

I have a PHEV and have driven over 70k miles with it over 4+ years. Up until a few months ago, I plugged it in every night, currently plug in just a few times a week now due to less efficiency in the winter and primarily because we temporarily have a 3rd car in the driveway that prevents me from easily plugging in

It isn’t about a 2,500 mile road trip. This is a way to estimate a full winter season which for some of us, is a significant chunk of the year.

“It’s pretty clear they have no idea how it actually works, but they have a lot of ideas on how they think it works.”

There were programs to fall back on, there are still programs to help. I agree that more can and should be done, but in a targeted form. There is a balance somewhere between giving everyone a check, paying someone more on unemployment than they made if they had gone back to work (this definitely happened) and targeted

4th gear:

Yes, we will get this car. It is called the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

I think you can’t read.

The best thing about this post is that the Ioniq6 (Prophecy) will look like the Prophecy concept.

The problem with Jeep being late to the party is that the Atlas is the best looking 3 row Jeep.

At 6'4" there are few that fit me with any level of comfort. Our Enclave is one that comes close, along with any of the GM 3 rows from the last generation. The others I have been in recently, the Palisade and the Atlas I can fit comfortably. With the Atlas, if the middle seat is all the way forward, which still

Let’s hope that we can find a way to drive down electricity costs in Massachusetts by then.

Rust belt does not have anything to do with cars... It is a phrase used to define a broad area stretching from the north east through the mid west to denote declining industry, lack of jobs, old factories, shrinking populations, etc.
